But we recognize the challenges and limitations of in-person training. . . so we've curated a series of dynamic online courses, covering key ARIS concepts to ensure you're equipped to thrive with ARIS from day one.
Implementing ARIS in Your Classroom
We are excited for you to get started. This programming sets the stage for your knowledge and use of the Language Builder Academic Readiness intervention System or ARIS for short.
Throughout these course you will learn about the components of ARIS and the guiding principles used in its development, ARIS resources to look for and get you started day one, ARIS assessment tools and using them to choose first lessons, conducting lessons and ARIS behavior management resources and tools.
ARIS Courses
The ARIS Academy Courses are designed for ease and efficiency. Our curriculum is divided into comprehensive courses, each comprising modules that last between 4 to 10 minutes. These short, engaging segments are crafted for quick and easy consumption, allowing you to absorb information in manageable chunks.
There's no need to progress through the courses sequentially. Feel free to select and view courses as per your immediate needs or preferences, ensuring a personalized and flexible learning experience.
Please note that although the courses might mention quizzes, the quiz function is currently inactive.
Course 1: Setting the Stage
In this course, you will get an overview of autism, the ARIS curriculum, and some of the useful resources included with ARIS.
Course 2: ARIS from Day 1
In this course, you will learn what you will need to do to get started on your first day using ARIS.
Course 3: Assessments and Progress Tracking
In this course, you will be introduced to the various assessments and progress tracking tools built into ARIS. You will learn both how to take data and how that data can be used to help guide your students’ progress.
Course 4: Content Categories
In this course, you will be introduced to the content categories that help organize and direct the ARIS lessons.
Course 5: Behavior Management
In this course, you will learn the behavior management tools and techniques that work with ARIS.
