    • Language Builder Online is designed to be highly flexible, allowing you to seamlessly integrate it with your existing curricula. With access to thousands of images, you can create custom lessons that align with your specific teaching goals. For example, if you’re focusing on vocabulary related to daily routines, you can select relevant images and build questions to support that lesson, such as "which picture shows how you get to school in the morning." Similarly, for social skills training, you can choose images depicting different social interactions, like a birthday party, and create questions to reinforce these concepts. This lets your tailor the platform to meet your curriculum needs. 
  • How secure is the information I enter into Language Builder Online?
    
    • Stages Learning takes data security seriously and we follow industry best practices to ensure your information is protected. All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and our platform is regularly updated to maintain the highest security standards. We also implement strict access controls and monitor our systems to prevent unauthorized access. Your data's privacy and security are our top priorities, so you can use the platform with confidence.
  • Can I use Language Builder Online offline?
    • Language Builder Online requires an active internet connection, as it is designed to function fully online. This allows us to offer you the most up-to-date content, seamless updates, and real-time progress tracking. Unfortunately, offline use is not available, so you'll need a stable internet connection to access and utilize the platform effectively.
  • What devices can I use to access Language Builder Online? 
    • Language Builder Online can be accessed on tablets and computers, making it easy for educators to create lessons, manage learners, and review data on any device. While the platform can technically be accessed on a mobile phone, it’s not ideal due to the small screen size. For the best learning experience, especially when students are interacting with lessons, we recommend using a touchscreen device like a tablet, which allows for more intuitive engagement with the content. However, the educator’s tasks, like adding students to the platform or creating lessons, can be comfortably managed on both touchscreens and traditional computers.
  • Are there tutorials or guides to help me get started?
    • Yes, we offer interactive demos to help you get started with Language Builder Online. These guides are designed to walk you through the platform’s key features, showing you how to create custom lessons, manage learners, and track progress. The demos are easy to follow and provide a hands-on way to learn how to navigate the platform efficiently, ensuring you can make the most out of your experience. You can access these demos directly within the platform.
  • Can I track my student’s progress within the platform?
    • Yes, Language Builder Online allows you to track your student's progress by recording how many trials they complete correctly and incorrectly, as well as whether their responses were prompted or unprompted. We're currently developing a more comprehensive reporting system that will enable you to view your learner's progress over time, giving you deeper insights into their development and helping you tailor your lessons even more effectively.
  • How do I create and save custom lessons?
    • To create and save custom lessons in Language Builder Online, you can select target images and distractors, and choose how you’d like your student to be prompted. You can include text instructions, audio instructions, or both; or deliver the instructions yourself. Additionally, you can opt to include a digital reinforcer at the end of each trial. You can create as many trials as needed, with the content limited only by your creativity. Our interactive demo guides you through this process, making it easy to get started.
  • Can I share lessons with others?
    • Yes, you can share lessons by clicking the three dots on the lesson card or the share button in the lesson preview, then copying a pre-written message and link.
      Send this message using your own email, and recipients can enjoy a free two-week trial to use the lesson with their child, client or student.
  • How often is new content added to the platform?
    • New content is added to Language Builder Online on a weekly basis, expanding an already extensive library that includes thousands of images and hundreds of lessons.  This ensures that the platform continues to grow and evolve, providing fresh, relevant material for your teaching needs.
  • Can I upload my own images?
    • Currently, Language Builder Online doesn’t support the ability to upload your own images. However, this feature is in our future plans. Once implemented, you’ll be able to personalize your lessons even further by adding your own images, making the platform even more flexible and tailored to your specific needs. Additionally, we plan to introduce a community-sharing feature, allowing you to share your custom images and lessons with other users, enhancing the collaborative potential of the platform.
  • Can assigned lessons be run on another device, and do users need an account to do so?
    • Currently, assigned lessons are only accessible within the account where they were created. This means that users cannot run these lessons on another device without being logged into the same account. However, we are working on a feature that will allow you to share lessons with others, enabling them to create their own accounts and access the lessons you’ve assigned directly from their own devices.
  • How many users can I add?
    • Currently, you can add up to 10 users to Language Builder Online. This allows you to manage and track progress for multiple students or learners within the platform. As we continue to develop the platform, we may expand this capacity to accommodate more users, ensuring it meets the growing needs of educators and parents alike.
